A year ago, the band Picture This were a relatively unheard of name in the music industry. Fast forward to today and they are the most talked about band in Ireland with their appeal starting to creep globally.

 

Breaking onto the scene with the hugely successful song 'Take My Hand', the band from Athy have went from strength to strength.

The band recently signed a huge record label deal with the world's biggest label, Universals Republic. The exposure and media coverage the band will get from being with this company will be huge.

They have just released a Christmas song, titled 'This Christmas' which has already gained huge praise over all forms of social media.

They have sold out their upcoming tours with many fans begging for extra dates to be added.

It won't be long before Picture This are playing in Croke Park.

Superfight one step closer

There is a lot of smoke coming out of the possible Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match fire.

The crossover fight of two of the biggest names in the fight industry has been rumoured for sometime, with many people believing the super fight could surpass all records ever set in the history of combat sport.

Conor has just recently been awarded a boxing license in the state of California which means one of two things. 

He is either trying to push for the fight to happen or he is putting pressure on the UFC to give him the shares of the company that he publicly demanded. 

Floyd has not fought outside of Vegas since 2005 however, so a fight in California is not likely. 

Many believe McGregor would not stand a chance with the experience and speed of the undefeated Mayweather.

One thing is for sure however, if the fight does go ahead Conor will not be short of any confidence. 

Louis going solo

This is the news that was always going to happen. With 1 Direction not officially together at the moment, most of the band members have branched off to do solo singing. Louis Tomlinson has not followed suit, until now.

The megastar boyband's most prolific songwriter has been in the studio writing his own music.

The news will be music to fans ears as now they will have all 5 origional members of 1D producing solo songs.

Louis is the only member of the band to stay loyal to Simon Cowell's record label, Syco.

Rumours have said that Cowell is very happy with the music Louis is producing.

Wayne spills the beans

By this time we all know that I'm A Celebrity... is on our screens for its annual season. By this time we also know that former footballer Wayne Bridge is on this seasons show. And now we all know the details of Wayne and his wife Frankie's sex life.

On last night's show the campmates discussed the answer to a Dingo Dollar challenge question, which asked what percentage of parents say their sex life is better since having kids, and the debate quickly turned personal.

Wayne left his wife blushing as he stated that he doesn't 'get as much' now that they have children.

The statement was quite unusual for the usually shy and reserved Wayne. Frankie took to Twitter to show her embarrassment tweeting, "Ohhhhhh @WayneBridge just stop talking". 

With her own parents watching the show, you can understand how she would be left red faced.

Perrie Edwards a WAG?

Little Mix band member Perrie Edwards is fond of a celebrity hook up, and today is no different. The singer is now reportedly dating Arsenal footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Edwards was recently spotted cheering on her new man at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal played London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

According to one source, it's early days for the couple and they are now enjoying getting to know eachother.

"There's certainly some chemistry there and they've enjoyed spending time together". It's clear that Perrie has now moved on after her high profile split with Zayn Malik.

While Edwards is busy promoting her new album, Glory Days, Alex is also firmly focused on his career. "Alex's main focus is on his football and becoming a first team regular at Arsenal".

Bieber loses his car

The first thing on my mind before I leave the nightclub to head home after a night out is to make sure i still have my phone and wallet in my pocket. Justin Bieber also does this, just on a much larger scale.

A member of the valet staff from the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills has revealed that JB left a luxury sports car at the hotel before a night out, and then completely forgot about it.

The car in question is a £192K blue Ferrari, not something you would forget in a hurry. A spokesperson for the hotel said, "Celebrities will leave one of their vehicles with us in between stays so it's ready for them to use as soon as they check-in. We all assumed Justin had done that".

Forbes estimates that Bieber is worth more than £200m so even if the car wasn't found, it wouldn't have affected him that much. 

If I lost a voucher for McDonald's on a night out I wouldn't be right for weeks. 

Festive McDonald's

It's almost that time of the year again. The nights are getting shorter, the temperature is getting colder and McDonald's has launched their Christmas menu.

It is always the best time to go to a local Maccy D's, with festive favourites and new surprises always on the menu.

This year see's the arrival of the Terry's Chocolate Orange McFlurry, which has got people buzzing with excitement on social media.

Other good news includes the Spicy Chicken Winter Melt, Cheese Melt Dippers, a chocolate banoffee pie and the return of the Festive Cheese Feast. There's even a Spiced Cookie Latte this year.

All news is not good however as the fan favourite Festive Pie has been given the axe for reasons beyond anybody's knowledge.

If you're a big fan of Britain's Got Talent you will surely remember the popular dance group Diversity.

If you're also a big fan of Diversity, you will surely remember Perri Kiely, the little boy with the big hair.

Drama has (unsurprisingly) hit the Geordie Shore house. Chloe Ferry has been axed from the show after attacking one of the 3 new housemates.

The exit of the 3 came as a huge shock to fans. Producers quickly acted however, introducing Abbey Holborn, Sarah Goodhart and Zahida Allen. In one of the most shocking incidents in the MTV show's historty, Chloe launched at Zahida after seeing her holding hands with her former loveinterest
Marty.

Chloe tackled the newbie to the floor before repeatably kicking her in the head. After getting a taxi back to the house, Chloe was reportedly contacted by producers due to her violent outburst.

The pure talent and determination that Conor Mcgregor owns is spectacular. The man from Dublin has brought the sport of mixed martial arts from unknown entity to worldwide phenomenon.

Already champion of the featherweight division, Conor added the lightweight title to his other shoulder. Nobody in the history of the UFC has been champion of two weight divisions at the same time.

The title fight at UFC 205 was already a historic event, being the first time professional MMA took place in New York. The fight between Mcgregor and Eddie Alvarez was advertised as the battle of champions.

The fight itself did not do this description any favours. Conor dominated the fight, dropping Alvarez 3 times in the first round. The American failed to bring anything extra in round two, before Conor landed a devastating combination of punches to end the fight.

It was the moment that Mcgregor had been waiting for since his arrival to the UFC.

This accolade now puts him among the greatest competitors the sport has ever seen.

Yet another celebrity couple has become official in the last few days. It has been confirmed that Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and former Jonas Brothers band member Joe are dating.

One report claimed, "They were with Joe's bandmates at the concert but they couldn't keep their hands off each other".

"He was getting very touchy feely with her in the VIP bar before the show, then kissed her and had his arms wrapped around her while the band were on. Neither of them cared who saw."

Kylie Jenner has been forced to respond to claims that a sex tape featuring her has appeared online. The reality star has shrugged off the allegations, even re-tweeting the image that caused the speculation.

The KUWTK star swiftly played down the speculation, tweeting, "Lmao no that's not me!!!" Some are calling it a strange incident for Jenner to even reply to the tweet to clear her name. Many celebs are the centre of these raunchy rumours but most stay quiet, as they know they are fakes.

With Kylie coming out to strongly deny the accusations, many believe she may be trying to cover something up.

Former One Direction singer Zayn Malik has recently opened up about his true feelings during his time with the band. He has admitted that if he could do it all again, he would wait an extra year or two to go on the X factor.

The management of the band was also brought up by the popstar. He said that they were very controlling of the band members to the point where tattoo's, hairstyles and clothes had to be signed off.

Although he does harbour these regrets, Zayn is now worth a reported £30 million, owns 3 homes and has a super model girlfriend, so all is not that bad.

Justin Bieber recently threw a strop on stage and walked off from his Manchester fans, annoyed that they were being too loud as he tried to speak.

Well JB has finally come out and apologised over social media for the incident, before swiftly deleting the message from his profile.

"What I mean by that is people try to twist things, some people don't want to listen."

"But I simply feel like, if I didn't use this platform to say how I truly feel, and if I didn't use this platform to be the man that I know I am, and speak from what's in my heart, then I'm doing myself injustice, and I'm not doing anyone in this audience any justice."

He also added, "There's going to be times where I say the wrong thing, because I'm human".

Justin must have had a change of heart, seeing as he removed the post.

Was this just a cry for attention or maybe the Biebs has an alterior motive for his recent shenanigans.

Destiny's Child reunion?

Destiny's Child was the girl group that catapulted Beyonce into the superstar status she now owns. The R&B trio broke up back in 2006 after almost 10 years together and selling over 60 million records.

Well speculation has grown of a reunion after a new validated Instagram account for the band appeared on the app.

So far 3 pictures have been posted on the site, all marking the success of the band from their prime. 2017 also marks the 20th anniversary from when the band first joined together, so it would make sense for a reunion to fall in this year.

The girl group comprising of Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle dominated the R&B fremale category for almost 10 years.

 Since their departure Rihanna has come close to the top but Beyonce still wears the crown. Is it all just rumours or is this going to be the next big reunion?

Will Justin cancel tour?

As we all well know by now, Justin Bieber is a bit of a diva and is partial to throwing the odd strop. The pop star is currently touring his Purpose tour around the UK, but has already walked off stage twice after getting annoyed that his fans wouldn't remain silent as he spoke to them.

On Sunday night during his final gig at Manchester's MEN arena, Justin threw down his mic and walked off stage. He returned a few minutes later to lecture his fans for screaming.

He came out to say, "I feel like I want to connect with you. The point of the no screaming thing is that when I'm looking at you in the eyes you know that we're actually having a moment and having a connection".

Strict Geordie Rules

You'd think the likes of Gaz, Scotty and Aaron from Geordie Shore would be able to have any girl they set their eyes on while partying for the show. Well it turns out that hooking up with a Geordie Shore star is tougher than getting through airport security.

To get with one of the stars, you need to show producers your passport and you cant have taken any alcohol that night.

They also have to sign a consent video stating that they will probably have sex. Aaron from the show agrees with the rules stating, "You don't want to get caught out. You'd have some parent ringing up an complaining. That would be awful".

Gaz isn't as happy with producers wishes, saying "It's a lot harder to sleep with a girl when we're filming. It's not as easy as pulling a girl on a normal night out".

Maybe the Geordie lads don't have it all their own way.

Cheryl Cole (or whatever surname she goes by these days) has been left feeling red faced after a private tape of an aggressive row with ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez Versini was threatened to be exposed to the public.

The X factor judge, who is now dating 1 Directions Liam Payne, recently divorced Versini after apparently knowing the relationship was doomed. 

On the mentioned tape, Cheryl can be heard screaming at her ex to leave. When the french man refuses, the pair break out into an abusive war of words. Cheryl had no idea the whole event was being recorded. 

A source has revealed that by the end of their relationship, "they were constantly fighting, both in private and in public, and both felt pushed to the brink".

The revelations come after huge speculation that Cheryl is pregnant with current boyfriend Payne after being photographed with what looks like a bump.

Scotty T has no Price

Two weeks ago I brought you news that Scotty T and Katie Price were seen sneaking into a hotel together. Rumours were ripe at the time as Price is currently a married woman, and we all know of Scotty's way with women.

Well the Geordie lad has opened up about the situation and claimed that absolutely nothing happened between the pair. He stated, "I know I'm bad, but I'm not that bad. I don't sleep with married women".

Apparently the pair are good friends and Scotty was helping Katie out of a situation. The glamour model had a show at the Hilton hotel and needed to find somewhere in Newcastle to top up the tan. Scotty being ever the gentleman offered to take her to a friend's tanning salon nearby.

He also admitted that the only reason he went into the hotel was to get changed. So it appears all the rumours has led to nothing with this one. 

Scotty did however say that, "if she was single, aye, you never know!"

Kentucky Shooting

Tyson Gay is a well respected American sprinter. Tragedy has unfortunately hit the fast man and his family.

His daughter, Trinity, has died after shots were fired early Sunday morning at a Lexington, Kentucky restaurant.

Two cars were involved in a shootout at the Cook Out restaurant near the University of Kentucky campus. Trinity Gay, 15, who was reportedly not in either car, was hit in the neck with a bullet and pronounced dead early Sunday morning.

Trinity was a promising sprinter herself who was a state champion for her region in the 200m event, and placed fourth in the state at the 100m distance.

Tyson has obviously in agony as he stated, "She didn't make it, I'm so confused. She was just here last week for fall break. It's so crazy. I have no idea what happened".

Niall going in a different direction?

Former 1 Direction star Niall Horan may have let slip that the 1D 'break' was actually a split and that he has left the band for good.

In an interview on American radio show, Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, when the presenter asked Niall whether or not he would be getting any tattoos, he said "No..Just because I've left the band doesn't mean I'm going to get a tattoo".

This statement has left fans in shock as it was thought that the band were only on a break. This seems to confirm that only Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are the only official band members left.

Horan has recently released his debut single titled 'This Town', which has not lit the charts alight, unlike former band mate Zayn Malik who's solo career has really taken off.

Brookyln moves on

If pictures this week are to be believed, Brookyln Beckham has offcially moved on from Chloe Moretz. Newly single Brookyln has been snapped getting cosy with a new mystery woman in North London.

Beckham has been surrounding himself with women. 

The 17 year old son of David Beckham and his mystery woman were all smiles as they were seen leaving a restaurant in Hampstead.  The pair seemed to have some chemistry as they flirted and laughed together.

The budding photographer seems to be surrounding himself with female company after breaking up with actress Moretz last month. The talented teen has been keeping himself busy in the world of fashion photography, and his good looks has seen him in demand on the other side of the lens too.

It was recently announced that he had scored a major money deal as the face of fashion label Pull&Bear.

No wonder he's a hit with the ladies.

Catfish in UK waters

The US show 'Catfish' has had huge success state side. the show about catching online fraudsters always manages to bring in a crowd, with multiple series of the show in America.

News just broke however that Catfish is coming to the UK. Who will host this show you ask? None other than YouTube star Alfie Deyes, otherwise known as PointlessBlog. One of the US hosts, Nev, has stated that, "There's a production company currently putting together a UK series".

The popular Nev seems happy with the appointment of Deyes despite showing interest to host the show himself. In my opinion the British Alfie will be more relatable to the British audience.

This is another example of how YouTubers are slowly morphing into mainstream news. Watch this space. 

Youtube meets A list

The list of celebrity-celebrity flings is almost endless. The rumour mill goes into overdrive if two celebs are even seen making eye contact together. A-listers are often a tight lipped group however and rumours are usually quickly swept under the rug.

Well the rumour mill may have dug up some old news this week. Singer Perrie Edwards and YouTuber Joe Sugg apparently had a fling for a few months after getting chatting online.

The Little Mix star must have been easing the pain of a broken relationship with Zain Malik. Zoella's brother Joe has lived a much more private life with the former roof thatcher never being one to take a lady into the limelight.

Sugg's YouTube fame has landed him among the stars, with an estimated value of over 1 million pounds, it's not surprising to see him mingling with the likes of Edwards.

The pair have since ended their romance but the rumour mill will be ready for the next scandal.

Leo is Out of this World

Ask most people who their favourite actor is and chances are Leonardo DiCaprio will be high up on most peoples list. The actor, who finally won an Oscar for his role in The Revenant, has put in some out of this world performances during the years.

Pun aside, news has broke that reckons Leo might soon be going out of this world himself, or at least as far as mars anyway.

Elon Musk has declared that he wants people to sacrifice their lives for him as he attempts to make life on mars a reality. Musk believes sending people to mars would be a backup solution in the case of a worldwide crisis.

Leo seems to agree with this theory as the Titanic actor has apparently signed up to go on a suicide mission to mars in the coming years.

Scotty T at it again

Geordie Shore's resident player Scotty T is famous for getting with any woman he lays his eyes on. The man's popularity with the ladies is unquestioned.

However with recent pictures surfacing online, it looks like the party boy is also fond of the older, married kind of woman.

The meet up comes days after Katie admitted to physically attacking the woman who had an affair with her husband, Kieran Hayler, with whom she has two kids with. despite the antics Katie has stuck by her husband. Was this Katie's way of getting revenge on her cheating hubby?

Kim gets pranked

Kim Kardashian almost fell victim to to one of infamous prankster Vitalii Sediuk's stunts as he tried to tackle the reality star at Paris Fashion Week.

 Kim was at the receiving end of the failed prank.

Clearly not happy with the elbow he got to the face from model Gigi Hadid last week, Sediuk found himself in the arms of Kim's bodyguards.

 He took to social media after the event to explain his motives, posting a picture on Instagram with the following caption, "I was protesting Kim for using fake butt implants. I encourage her and the rest of the Kardashian clan to popularise natural beauty among teenage girls who follow and defend them blindly".

 He also claimed that he did not plan the failed stunt claiming, "P.s. I was sitting there outside the posh restaurant to use free wifi and eat my ice-cream". It all seems very convenient for the prankster if you ask me.

He may not be so vocal in the next few days however as, according to TMZ, Kim K is planning to file a police report on the event and take out a restraining order against Sediuk.

 Maybe this time he'll learn his lesson.

The Beckham's seem to exude success. David had a star studded football career while Victoria was a stable in the music scene. With Brookyn Beckham following in his father's footsteps of playing football, it appears young Cruz is set to follow his mothers's passion.

 One person who definitely stood up and took notice is no other than Simon Cowell. The major music manager seems set on signing Cruz to his record label, Syco Music.

When Simon first met young Cruz, his decision was instant as he stated, "Get him in and we'll sign him. I met them when they were younger and I have to say they are really incredible kids".

All eyes are firmly fixed on this situation, with Cruz Beckham being tipped to be the British Justin Bieber. Not much pressure kid.
